“Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in the hollow part of your chest. Grief is love with no place to go.”
~Jamie Anderson
The Journey of Grief Ministry will begin its Seven Week Fall Series on Thursday, September 25th, at 7:00 PM in the DePalma Room. Whether you have lost a loved one recently or many years ago, you are welcome to join us as we explore the pain of grief, and offer support to one another on the journey. We will share our own stories, pain and questions surrounding death, concerns about the future and ways to honor our loved ones. Sessions usually last for 60-90 minutes. You need not be a member of the parish to join and there is no cost. This series is separate from, and in addition to, the monthly meetings they currently host and will be offered on seven consecutive Thursday evenings, ending on November 6th. For more information or to register, please call Kathy at 412-344-9690 or email moozie1217@verizon.net.
