In light of the significant winter storm forecast for this weekend, Bishop Mark Eckman has dispensed the obligation to attend Sunday Mass for Catholics in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. As always, no one should place themselves or others at risk due to dangerous travel conditions.
That said, if you are able to travel safely, we strongly encourage you to consider attending Mass on Saturday, before the storm arrives.
Mass schedule for this weekend is as follows:
Saturday
8:00 A.M. (Saint Anne)
4:00 PM (Saint Anne)
5:30 PM (Saint Winifred)
Sunday
8:00 AM (Saint Anne)
10:00 AM (Saint Anne)
6:00 PM (Saint Anne)
Please note: there will be no 11:30 AM Mass this Sunday.
If weather conditions prevent you from attending Mass safely, the dispensation applies, and you are encouraged to sanctify the day through prayer, Scripture, participation in a livestreamed or televised Mass, and spiritual communion.
Please continue to use good judgment, look out for neighbors, and check Parish communications for updates.
Stay safe, and we hope to see many of you Saturday.
Spiritual Communion
My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
