Bishop Barron’s “Pivotal Players of Catholicism” is a multi-part film series that illumines a handful of saints, artists, mystics, and scholars who not only shaped the life of the Church but changed the course of civilization. Among those featured is St. Thomas Aquinas whose feastday is Tuesday, January 28.
The relationship of faith and reason is often misunderstood in today’s world. St. Thomas Aquinas anticipated this and demonstrated that to believe is to think and that the life of the mind is integral to life in Christ.
Two options: Join us in the Convent Dining Room on Tuesday, January 28 at 9:00AM (following the 8:00AM Novena Mass) or 7:30PM (following the 6:30PM Novena Mass) and journey along with Bishop Barron as he explores the lasting influence of St. Thomas Aquinas in this 60-minute film. Time for discussion will follow and light refreshments will be served.
