A Mother's Heart - The Center of the Domestic Church
If you are a mother striving to bring your children up to know, love and serve the Lord, why not consider spending a few hours reflecting, sharing, and refreshing your soul! Please consider joining us for this Morning Retreat for Busy Moms on Saturday, October 21st, from 9:00 AM - Noon in the DePalma Room at Saint Anne Church. We will pray together for our families, have several topics for discussion, and share hospitality and experiences.
Our children are certainly one of the greatest blessings in life and a source of great joy, yet the role of motherhood comes with a certain amount of exhaustion and challenges. It is good to take a moment and seek support in others, share stories, make personal connections and new friendships. Let us focus for a time on our “domestic church,” and the blessings that we as Mothers bring to it. We will also reflect on our own Blessed Mother, and the role that she continues to play in our lives as we turn to her for intercession to her Son Jesus Christ. The vision is for this to be a time when Moms can come have some time to themselves, along with other Moms, to reflect on the blessings of Motherhood, and to feel the support of the church as you live out this vocation.
