Brendan serves as the Director of Music at Saint Anne and Saint Winifred Churches. In this role Brendan directs the Choir, and Children's Choir, oversees the cantor program, and plays the organ at four of the six Masses in the grouping each weekend. Brendan has served as the organist at Saint Anne Parish since 2016. Prior to his work at Saint Anne, Brendan served for four years as the Music Director at Saint John Fisher in Churchill.
Brendan maintains an active career as a performer outside of the church, with experience perfoming in a wide array of genres. In the past few years, his performance schedule has included: freelance jazz work, collaboration with vocalist Jesica Victoria, and performances with the Pittsburgh Symphony and Chatham Baroque as a Chorister.
Brendan holds a Master's Degree in Sacred Music from Duquesne University where he studied organ with Ann Labounsky and conducting with Caron Daley, and a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Piano Performance from Temple University where he studied piano with Bruce Barth.
