Pre-Cana Classes
Are you planning your wedding? St. Paul of the Cross Parish is here to support you as you prepare for the beautiful Sacrament of Marriage.
To help build a strong spiritual foundation for your life together, engaged couples are expected to participate in a marriage preparation program, called Pre-Cana, as a prerequisite to sacramental marriage. This program offers the time and space to reflect deeply on your shared vocation. Our parish hosts a Pre-Cana class annually during the first weekend of March.
The 2026 Sunday Series
From Nothing to Cosmos - All Sunday evenings from 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the DePalma Room
May 3rd - The Bible, Evolution, & Aliens
From Nothing to Cosmos is a FORMED presentation in which Fr. Robert Spitzer, S.J., PhD., dispenses with the contemporary statement, "Science has proven God does not exist," and then goes on to demonstrate God's existence from science, philosophy, medicine, the transcendentals, and metaphysical proofs. Fr. Spitzer is at once, entertaining and overflowing with pertinent information.
The 2026 Tuesday Series
Jesus & the Dead Sea Scrolls - all Tuesday mornings, 8:45 - 10:00 AM in the DePalma Room
May 13 - (Pt. 7) St. Paul and the Scrolls & (Pt. 8) Qumran and the Church
The greatest archeological discovery of the 20th century gave the world the Dead Sea Scrolls. As the oldest sacred documents of Judaism, the scrolls have many surprising connections to early Christianity. Biblical scholar Dr. John Bergsma and Franciscan University of Steubenville president Father Dave Pivonka, TOR, discuss the history and mysteries of the scrolls, what they reveal about Jesus Christ, the sacraments, and the early Church, and why they matter to believers and non-believers today.
