Mass of Thanksgiving with Bishop Zubik
Bishop David Zubik released the following statement inviting all to a mass marking the end of his tenure. "It has been an exceptional blessing for me to serve the faithful of the Church of Pittsburgh for nearly eighteen years. I will look forward to as many people as possible joining with me in a Mass of Thanksgiving on Thursday, July 10th, at 7:00 PM in Saint Paul Cathedral."
Installation Mass for Fr. Joseph Uzar
Bishop Zubik will officially install Fr. Joseph Uzar as our new pastor at the 4:00 PM Mass on Saturday, July 12th, in Saint Anne church. We hope to see many parishioners there to give Fr. Joe a warm welcome. Reception after Mass. All are welcome.
Farewell Mass for Fr. Dennis Koltz
On Sunday, July 13th, Fr. Dennis Koltz will celebrate a farewell Mass at 11:30 AM in St. Winifred church. Fr. Dennis, a P.I.M.E. missionary priest and son of St. Winifred's, will be returning to Brazil. Come and join his mother, brothers, sister and fellow parishioners, as we wish him Godspeed. Reception to follow in Benedict Hall. All are welcome.
Prayer for Bishop Eckman
On Sunday, July 13, our parish will join others of the diocese for a Holy Hour at 4:00 PM for Bishop Eckman. This is a wonderful opportunity to support him prayerfully in anticipation of his installation the next day.
Installation Mass for Bishop Eckman
Bishop Eckman will formally be installed as the Thirteenth Bishop of Pittsburgh on Monday, July 14 with a Solemn Mass at 2:30 PM in Saint Paul Cathedral. Our Apostolic Nuncio, Christophe Cardinal Pierre, and Archbishop Nelson Perez, Archbishop of Philadelphia and our Provincial, will lead this celebration.
