St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive
The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul of Saint Paul of the Cross Parish announce plans for their fall food drive. Paper bags and envelopes for monetary contributions will be distributed after all the masses on the weekend of September 30/October 1. The bags and envelopes containing your donations will be collected October 7/8 prior to all the masses at both churches. The food drive supports the Saint Winifred Food Pantry. So far, for the months of February-August of 2023, the food pantry has seen an increase of 46% in the number of individuals served compared to the prior year. In August alone, over 1,800 of our neighbors were served with food.
A list of the items the food pantry needs will be included with each bag. If you prefer, you can drop off your contributions to their truck which will be parked at Saint Anne church from 3:00 PM Saturday until 6:00 PM Sunday. Cash contributions are welcome and checks can be made payable to St. Paul of the Cross SVDP. The parish has always responded generously to their semi-annual food drive. Thank you for your support.
