Parish Fair and Flea Market

Parish Fair and Flea Market

The Parish Fair is back for it's 50th year!

June 12 - 17

Save the dates and take part in the 50th spring parish fair. Once again it will be held at the former Saint Anne School site. There will be rides, food and fellowship.

VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are needed for this weeklong event. If you’re able to help out, even for a little bit, please contact the committee by calling the parish office (412)531-5964 or click HERE to sign up. A fair chairperson will contact you and specific duties will be assigned according to need.

Please note: You must be registered with the Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese and considered compliant to help with this or any activity in the parish.  If you have questions about your eligibility visit https://www.virtusonline.org/virtus/ or contact Don Fontana at dfontana@stpaulofthecross.com with questions.

FLEA MARKET

Please set aside your unwanted treasures and donations. Those items, usable and in good shape, can be dropped off to the flea market trailer beginning Thursday, May 4th, from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. The trailer will be parked in the Saint Anne church lot behind the convent.

We CANNOT ACCEPT

  • bowling balls
  • tires or other auto parts
  • medical equipment
  • computers or televisions
  • exercise equipment
  • CLOTHING
*We ask that jewelry be brought to the Parish Office so that it can be sorted and priced ahead of time.

SET UP AND TAKE DOWN
The Fair committee is looking for help with set up and take down. During the week of June 6-9 we will work form 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM. On June 10 & 11 we will begin at 9:00 AM and (hopefully) finish at 4:00 PM. any and all help would be extremely appreciated. (No specific skills needed). We also need a lot of help on the day after the fair, June 18th, with takedown. We start at 8:30 AM and work until everything is stored away. The more help we get, the shorter the day is. Even a few hours can help if enough people are involved. If you can spare even a few hours, please contact Dan Schneider (412) 523 - 3480.

RAFFLE TICKETS
All registered parish families should have received Raffle tickets in the mail. Since the Cash Raffle goes such a long way in ensuring the financial success of the Carnival, please do your best to either purchase or sell all the tickets you receive. If you return the ticket stubs and money by 4:00PM Friday, May 23rd, you will be eligible for a $50.00 cash prize.

CHINESE AUCTION
Donations of handmade items, gift baskets, or specialty gifts are needed to make our Chinese auction a success. When you bring your donation to the parish office, please include your name and phone number. Donations will be accepted through June 9th.

RIDE TICKETS PRE-SALE
Purchase ride tickets after all the Masses beginning next weekend (May 20th & 21st), at a discounted price. While supplies last, a sheet of 10 tickets is $20.00 during this pre-sale event. The pre-sale ends June 9th.
