Brendan serves as the Director of Music at Saint Paul of the Cross Parish. In this role Brendan directs the Choir, and Children's Choir, oversees the cantor program, and plays the organ for all Masses in the Parish each weekend. Brendan served as the Music Director at Saint Anne Parish since 2016, continuing with newly formed Saint Paul of the Cross Parish in 2019. Prior to his work at Saint Paul of the Cross, Brendan served for four years as the Music Director at Saint John Fisher in Churchill. 

Brendan maintains an active career as a performer outside of the church, with experience performing in a wide array of genres. He has given organ recitals at venues including Saint Paul Cathedral (Pittsburgh), and Holy Name of Jesus (Raleigh, North Carolina). In the past few years, his performance schedule has also included: freelance jazz work, collaboration with soprano Jessica Victoria

Brendan holds a Master's Degree in Sacred Music from Duquesne University where he studied organ with Ann Labounsky and conducting with Caron Daley, and a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Piano Performance from Temple University where he studied piano with Bruce Barth. He serves an adjunct faculty of Sacred Music at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
