Don joins Saint Paul of the Cross as Director of Youth, Young Adult and Adult Formation. He spent 16 years as the Director of Religious Education and Safe Environment Coordinator at Our Lady of Grace Parish in the South Hills and also taught 9 & 10th grade theology at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School. Prior to his time at OLG, Don taught 7th/8th grade history and religion at the Catholic Academy of West Buffalo in the Diocese of Buffalo and spent six years as a college baseball coach at The Catholic University of America, the University of Maryland, Georgetown University, and Niagara University.
A native of the Washington D.C. area, he holds an M.S. in Secondary Education from Niagara University, has completed 15 classes towards an M.A. in theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and works part-time as the Director of Faith Formation at Our Lady of the Angels & St. Maria Goretti parishes in the Lawrenceville/Bloomfield/Garfield areas of the city of Pittsburgh. Don resides in the North Hills with his wife and six children and is a parishioner at St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church on the North Side.
